Rebuild a Strong and Athletic body after 35 with mindful and progressive calisthenics

Become Stronger and Move Better than in your 20s with a Mindful and Progressive method that keeps you safe from injury.

get strong after 35 — simply and safely

this is one of the most underrated methods in mainstream fitness because it's too simple, but it's exactly what you need to become strong again.

You may have been told one of two things about calisthenics or bodyweight strength:
Either that it doesn't build strength and muscle, or that it's dangerous.
Both are completely wrong.
Professional athletes across all sports owe much of their conditioning and performance to progressive, controlled bodyweight strength training.
Now here's what you need to know:
If you're over 35, struggle to stay strong or build muscle, and are dealing with chronic pain or past injuries, this method is probably the only one you should consider.
ESPECIALLY IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE FOLLOWING:

Bodyweight Strength
for Real-Life Action

Build bodyweight strength that's functional and supports you from tough games to long workdays. Because true strength is about how you lift and carry yourself, literally.

Bulletproof Core and
Full-Body Control

Develop deep core and stabilizer muscles that protect your spine, improve posture, and give you better control over your body in everything you do.

Look And Move
Like An Athlete

How do gymnasts and sprinters achieve the most athletic physiques in the world of sports? Like us, their training is essentially functional and bodyweight strength oriented.

Rejuvenated Mobility and Pain-free Joints

Tight hips, stiff shoulders, low back pain, those disappear when you train for real mobility. You’ll move better, feel better, and perform with more freedom.

Mindful Progression
for Injury Prevention

Build strength and resilience in smaller muscles and joints. My step-by-step system protects you from injury and burnout, so you can keep progressing without setbacks.

Elite Discipline,
Absolute Confidence

It’s a mindset. Step by step, you train patience, discipline, and grit. The same qualities that define elite executives, athletes, and top performers in any field.

"I'm like Romelu Lukaku on the field!"
"It's amazing how much stronger I felt after using the "Introduction to Calisthenics" program for just a few weeks.
I play football and I just don't recognize myself anymore, I'm like Romelu Lukaku on the field!
I'm now following "Bodyweight Conditioning" program and I keep progressing consistently.
Just amazing!"

"the difference is like night and day!"
"I started following Nico's method last year and after 2 months or so, everyone thought I was noticeably more muscular!
After 5 months I could do sets of 5 one-arm push-ups, which seemed absolutely impossible before.
I feel so much stronger now and can easily perform moves like pull-ups and L-sits on the floor.
The difference is like night and day!"

"I feel stronger every week"
"I’m able to surprise myself every week thanks to Nicolas’ coaching.
I went from overthinking whether to train to just training. I feel stronger every week, and it’s opened the door to a new world of possibilities.
It gave me the confidence to start training in boxing, and I can really feel the strength and power I’ve built."
what happened

Why can't you feel fit and strong anymore?

Let’s face it.
Your body doesn’t feel like it used to.
You wake up stiff, tired, and with the same lower back pain every morning.
Coffee is what should wake you up.
But instead, it’s that pinch in your shoulder that shocks you wide awake.
You drag yourself to work with the lowest energy levels recorded in a decade.
And it’s hard to admit, but the truth is you’re just not that fit anymore.
What happened? You were always pretty active, and you always cared about your body.
But you still lost a lot of strength and muscle.
It started right after the best day of your life (I’m talking about your wedding).
How did you magically slide into physical decline?
And bad sleep only makes it worse.
You worry over kids, mortgages, and your business.
And when you feel okay, you just can’t find the time.
It will be easier "once the kids grow up, or you get that promotion, or hire the right person"…
That’s what you tell yourself but there’s always something new.
Time passes and you don’t get better.
You’ve tried to change though.
You joined a gym, tried training like in your 20s and you burned out.
Crossfit? It downright f**ked you up, didn’t it?
Random workouts did not help and just made you even more inconsistent.
And the biggest waste of time: you tried something “light”.
Yoga, mobility videos, and other soft exercises that made you lose even more strength and muscle.
Now you’re left with a lot of doubts and questions.
Can you still build muscle at your age?
Can you ever reach your goals?
Does it only go downhill from here?
You’re afraid to train harder because it might destroy you or cause more injuries.
Even bodyweight training seems scary, you might make a “wrong move” and dislocate something.
That said, you refuse to give up.
You know you need to regain control of your body.
It would be nice to feel young again, and be a strong role model for your kids.
Plus, you know you have it in you.
You could get even stronger than you were 10 years ago, if only you knew where to start.
But this is the problem.
There is so much noise, so many videos, so many contradictions online, and no clear starting point or path.
Every time you try, you find too many options, and choose none.
Now here's the good news.
You've just found a method that will not only give you a clear path, but will make you as strong as you were in your 20s, without breaking you.
enso bodyweight strength system

the new you: stronger, leaner, tougher.

A Mindful and Progressive Method.
The Enso Bodyweight Strength System is a method that was specifically designed for people like you, not for 20-year-olds who have never injured themselves, have no nagging pain, and can train everyday and still recover.
It follows a step-by-step approach, and believes that the fastest way to achieve your goals is actually the slow way.
Through 5 core pillars, the Enso Bodyweight Strength System will make you stronger and more mobile than ever, and will crush all the doubts you have about what you can achieve at your age and current level.
These 5 pillars are:
I) Foundations and Joints Integrity: we're only as strong as our weakest link. Every program starts with a preparation phase, and joints are trained and reinforced throughout the entire training journey before we add any challenge.
II) Dual Strength Method: pure strength and strength endurance are trained simultaneously. This is because calisthenics and bodyweight strength have higher neurological demand, and longer sets coupled with short sets at high intensity help you progress more consistently, and with less plateaus.
III) Skills and Athletic Development: the development of skills is not only a way to make use of the strength we build, but when it comes to calisthenics, it is also a requirement to keep building more strength in all planes and ranges of motion.
IV) Recovery, Mobility, and Longevity: progress is made during recovery, not during the workouts. Therefore, it will always be a top priority. As part of our mindful and progressive philosophy, recovery and mobility are also a path to longer health and durable strength.
V) Discipline, Autonomy, and Identity: the ultimate goal of my coaching program is to give you the discipline and autonomy to not only sustain your results, but continue progressing on your own. This identity shift is done through training and lifestyle education, and designing a long-term system.

"I can fit in my old clothes again"
"I’ve been training with Nico (mostly online) for close to a year now, and I am getting positive results.
Do I look like Shawn Mendes now? No, but I feel stronger—and I feel good! Sure I can talk about breathing better during cardio or doing more and correct push-ups, but I’m honestly just happy I can fit in my old clothes again
His training method—albeit online—is thorough and effective. He definitely knows his sh*t!"

"It took me a couple of months to do what I tried doing for 8 years"
"As a woman, I always thought I'd never be able to do "real" push-ups but it was still my goal.
For 8 years, every coach told me I was too ambitious and I would probably never get there.
But with this method, it only took me a couple of months to go from knee push-ups to whole sets of perfect push-ups with full range of motion!
Thank you!"

Nicolas Sart

what do i specialize in?

I specialize in 2 things.

The first one is my own method, which is designed to build tremendous bodyweight strength and mobility, step by step, through safe and controlled calisthenics and other movement-based exercises (some can include weights).
This kind of training carries over all other sports and activities, and will help you perform on another level.

My method is simple and straightforward, and is especially suitable for beginners and intermediates who have ambitious goals, but also for more advanced athletes who wish to unlock the next level of their game.
The second thing I specialize in is helping people build a tough mind and a discipline of steel.
Discipline is not innate.
It is a skill which must be learnt, practiced, and honed.

True strength is both mental and physical, and this is what I teach.

Franck, 36, wasn't working out but he had always dreamed of doing the human flag. Everybody told him he could never do it. After 15 months, he was able to show them a video where he held a straddle human flag for 3 solid seconds.
Dhamar, 35, went from never being able to do push-ups, and being told by other trainers that she could never do it, to do sets of 10 clean push-ups in 6 months.
Paul, 34, went from 8 push-ups max to 10 dips in 4 months.
Raymond, 38, went from not being able to hold an L-sit to being able to hold it for 50 seconds in 3 and a half months.
Theo, 42, went from knee pain and not being able to do more than 8 Bulgarian split squats to 3 sets of 10 unassisted shrimp squats in 5 months.
Arie, 43, who could hardly do one set of 5 inverted rows, was then able to do 3 sets of 15 in 4 months.

frequently asked questions

Here's a few answers to questions you might have. Do not hesitate to send me a message (see above) if you want to ask me about something else!

can i really build strength with calisthenics?

If you think gymnasts are strong, you got your answer.
There is also a good reason why pull-ups, push-ups, and other bodyweight exercises are used as benchmarks in military and other armed forces tests.

Bodyweight strength is not only an indicator of overall fitness, it is also the most functional type of strength.

Of course, this strength transfers to weightlifting as well. The harder the bodyweight exercises you can do, the heavier you can pull, push, or strike.

Can I build muscle with bodyweight training?

Absolutely!
Your body only responds to resistance, and does not care where that resistance comes from. If the exercise challenges you, your body will adapt and build muscle, increase strength, or improve your flexibility depending on the stimulus.

It's also important to note that we don't limit ourselves to bodyweight exercises for the sake of it. When weights make more sense, we use weights. But in most cases, minimal equipment and movement-based exercises take our athletes a very long way until they need to add weight.

is calisthenics safe for my age?

Yes, it is arguably the safest type of training you can do.

It is important to differentiate calisthenics from street workout. Calisthenics is simply the art of building strength and muscle by using gravity and your own bodyweight as resistance.

Anything that is movement-based can be considered calisthenics, even running and climbing.
It is the first step in any rehab program because it is the safest starting point for everyone.

do i have the level to follow your program?

Yes, you do.

The mindful and progressive nature of my method means it is suitable for any level, from rehab patients returning to normal activity, to elite athletes who need to stay ahead of the competition, and of course everybody in between.

This method is for everyone.

how will you measure my level?

I have designed a very accurate and specific assessment process, which you can read about in detail in my book.

This allows us to determine your strength and endurance levels of 4 main components (pull, push, core, and legs), as well as your mobility.

As in the martial arts tradition, you will also be assigned a belt grade and receive a belt certificate.

You can earn higher belts by becoming stronger and unlocking new moves.
The grading system is also explained in my book.

Will i receive a meal plan?

I have found from experience that a meal plan is often not sustainable on the long term.

Daily nutrition coaching is much more effective, and a lot more enjoyable for you too.

Every day, I will teach you how to take small steps to adjust your current diet. You will start making better choices, and will still be able to eat what you like while reaching your goals.

how long will it take to see results?

Everybody's physiology is different, and people respond to the same training differently.

However, almost everyone starts feeling great and moving better within the first month, while the first strength improvements usually become obvious after 2 months.
After 3 months, you can expect solid progress in strength, muscle mass and mobility.

After 6 months of consistent training and proper nutrition, people around you will notice you look more muscular and leaner. You'll also be considerably stronger and will be able to do a lot of movements you couldn't before.

After 12 months, you should be completely transformed. More pull-ups, abs of steel, higher jumps, a flexible back, pain-free joints... You will feel bulletproof and will look like it.

From then on, nothing will stop you.
You'll keep getting fitter, stronger, and leaner year after year.

Expect people to ask you for the secret to reverse aging...

do i need a gym membership?

The short answer is no.
You won't need a gym membership to train with me since your training can be done with minimal equipment, which I will help you select of course.

However, if you want to make sure you really have all the tools and space required, it might be more convenient for you to join a gym.
They will surely have everything we use in my method.

In general, you will need access to a pull-up bar, dip bars, resistance bands, and a suspension training kit to get started.

how will i be charged?

I normally use Stripe (one of the leading payment platforms) to send a simple payment link with tax invoice.
If you are not comfortable using your card online, we can use bank transfers or whatever is more convenient for you.

will i be refunded if i am not satisfied?

Yes, if you follow my program diligently but do not see any improvement after 30 days, I will refund you in full.

So far, this has never happened.

Enso bodyweight strength method

Enso

The philosophy behind the name

In Zen, an Enso is a circle that is hand-drawn to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.

The Enso symbolizes strength, personal development, simplicity, mindfulness, elegance, and the pursuit of perfection. It is characterized by a minimalism born of Japanese aesthetics and is an expression of self through movement.

The circle may be open or closed. In our case, the circle is incomplete, allowing for movement and development towards mastery of our craft.
Although a Zen master can usually draw a better Enso than a beginner, this is of very little importance. Anyone can practice it regardless of their level, and what is important is self development.

Calisthenics is a form of strength training that uses a variety of movements (often derived from gymnastics), to increase strength, flexibility, and improve posture, body composition and overall fitness.
The word calisthenics comes from the ancient Greek words for beauty and strength.

The way we practice calisthenics in our community has a lot in common with the philosophy of the Enso.
We train to develop our strength and overall fitness with minimal equipment, and pursue mastery of our bodies through movement.
We strive for perfection and push ourselves to become stronger and fitter everyday, but always mindfully and intelligently. We trust and enjoy the process of going through each required step, in order to get long term results and benefits without ever hurting ourselves.

Calisthenics movements are also a way for us to express ourselves and get creative with our bodies, just like gymnasts and other performers. Masters can perform these movements more beautifully, but anyone can practice calisthenics regardless of their level. Just like with drawing the Enso, we are not concerned with one's level of mastery, but rather with self development and becoming better than yesterday.

When you train with us, you'll build your dream body, you'll enjoy long term health benefits, you'll finally be able to hold a handstand or whatever your goal may be, and you will love the process of training pain-free, location-free, and moving more and more freely.

Enso Calisthenics logo
PS: You've been reading this far for a good reason. You know something needs to change.
You can ignore this and let your health and body get out of control.
Or you can act now and become stronger, move better, sleep longer, and get rid of these lingering pains...
Take the next step and join my program, your future self will thank you.
